THE CHETAN YATRA :-

The last programme of ‘chetan yatra’ was on 5.4.09 at Bevinakoppa, District Belgam. The devotees from Anandashram, Bevinakoppa reached Belgam to receive HIM. At the entrance of the Ashram, school children extended their warm welcome and played the Band. Ladies offered traditional worship of holy feet , whereas in Nityananda Mandir Sri Guru vandana was performed with ‘shodashopacaar’ Pooja under the guidance of Swami Vijayananda. All present had Darshan and in the evening Bhajan session was held.

Next day the Anniversary celebrations of the Ashram started with the ‘Ashlesha Bali’ havan. In the evening a grand function was organized. As Swami Vijayananda had wished from a long time, about 3000 people received blessings from Param Poojya Sri Gurudev. HE imparted ‘Shaktipat’ to every one with the peacock feather wand.

On 7.4.2009, morning the chetan yatra party had darshan at Samadhi mandir of Siddharudh Swami, in Hubli and then reached Siddhaloka.


MARRIAGE CEREMONY :-

The parents, friends and relatives of Sri Arjun Gowda of Madbal, in Magadi Taluk requested Param Poojya Sri Gurudev to perform the marriage ceremony of the young man at Siddhaloka. Hence the spontaneous arrangements for the function were made on 18.1.2012, at 11 am. Param Poojya Sri Gurudev blessed the newly wed couple as well as the gathering of 30 people. HE distributed Prasad to all.


INTERACTIVE TALK ON SIDDHA YOGA :-

“An aspirant of liberation should please his guru to attain his goal of life”. Param Poojya Sri Gurudev announced this to the large gathering in Bangalore on 15-1-2012. HE reached the well decorated venue and took HIS seat sharp at 4 pm. The invocation song penned and set to the tune by Param Poojya Sri Gurudev , was sung in chorus. The stanzas of the song explained how ignorantly people worship different deities for their welfare without the true knowledge, which can be attained by the grace of the Sadguru.

The questions received from different places in advance were replied satisfactorily and program concluded with arati and Prasad was distributed to all.


PRIZE DISTRIBUTION :-

The winner of the essay competition held on 10-12-2011, Kum. K.C.Megha Sri, reached Siddhaloka with her two classmates, to collect her prize on 14-1-2012. Param Poojya Sri Gurudev gave away the prizes and also additional gifts to the three girl students of 10th standard. This doubled their joy.
