The well planned Grand Siddha Yoga Satsang in connection with Muktananda Centenary Celebrations was held on 23rd December (the auspicious birthday of Guru Dattatreya, the originator of Siddha Yoga) at Bangalore. The large gathering listened to Param Poojya Sri Gurudev explain the meaning of “Yagyon vratam tapo danam…” verse from Guru Gita citing the examples of two politicians of Karnataka. One was engaged in sacrificial rites, vows, japa and went to the temples of entire South India. But he came out as a fraud and liar. The other one fell at the feet of pontiffs of various mutts and so called modern spiritual Gurus. Finally he was unable to achieve his goal and sat in his house sadly. Param Poojya Sri Gurudev strictly told people not to go to temples and do rituals as well as not to visit mutts and fraud spiritual centers. HE recalled the message of Muktananda “Meditate on your Self, worship yourself, honour yourself. Your God dwells within you, as you and for you” and led the meditation session.

  Later on people asked questions and had their doubts cleared. After the Arati everyone received Prasad from the lotus hands of Param Poojya Sri Gurudev. 

           

 

On 18th November, a Siddha Meditation Intensive was held at Siddhaloka. The participants came from distant places like Sweden and near by cities of Mysore and Bangalore. While some participants explained their divine experiences others asked different questions on Siddha Yoga and spirituality in the question slips.

 

Param Poojya Sri Gurudev reached the industrial city Noida in Uttar Pradesh on 20th November. The HCL Company executives gathered for an interactive talk with HIM on 23rd morning. Param Poojya Sri Gurudev asked several questions from them about the goal and other aspects of life. The General Manager and other executives replied appropriately. Later HE allowed everyone to raise their queries and resolved them. Ms Pragya Gupta, the HR Manager arranged the program.

On 24th Sunday the Shaktikunj Apartments temple in Noida was decorated with a beautiful tent for the Siddha Yoga Satsang in connection with the Muktananda Centenary Celebrations. The Satsang commenced on time, led by His Holiness Swami Chetanananda Saraswati, concluded with bliss experienced by one and all.

 

The students of Sarva Hitkari college, Talwara in Punjab were very happy to sit with Param Poojya Sri Gurudev for an hour interact talk and meditation session on 28th November. They asked several questions and got satisfactory replies.

 

The Siddha Yoga Satsang at Sri Laxmi Narayan temple in Talwara was grand and one of its kind.  The temple hall was fully packed with devotes who listened to Param Poojya Sri Gurudev  with rapt attention and meditated with enthusiasm. Many of them visited HIM at the BBMB Guest house where HE stayed for 5 days and narrated their experiences in meditation. Sri Gurudev was invited for lunch by Sri S.P. Sharma, the Deputy Chief Engineer of BBMB on 30th November. On 2nd December Satsang was arranged at Pachkula, Haryana where devotees meditated with Param Poojya Sri Gurudev.

All these programs were conducted under the leadership of Siddha Shree Naveen Sharma.

                          

Param Poojya Sri Gurudev  proceeded for Patna in Bihar for Siddha Yoga Satsangs in connection with Muktananda Centenary Celebrations. The Magadh Mahila College arranged a speech on the subject of ‘Future with Nature’ by Param Poojya Sri Gurudev  on 15th December. Students and teachers of the college attended in large numbers. The meditation session turned the whole college campus in serene silence.

On the occasion of Vivah Panchami (the wedding day of Shiva Shakti) Param Poojya Sri Gurudev  was invited to preside the program at the Shiva Panchayatan Temple in Mainpura Patna. For the first time in Bihar a Siddha Yoga Satsang was arranged at Community Hall of Ganga Towers which was attended by large number of devotees.

 

Dipavali, the festival of lights was observed on 9th November evening. The whole Siddhaloka was decorated with clay lamps for three days. The worship of Account books, cash boxes was performed with Shodashopachar (16 types of Pooja items). After the Arati, Prasad was distributed to all present.

 

WeddingParam Poojya Sri Gurudev attended the wedding ceremony of his close disciple Mohan who has been serving HIM since childhood. HE was welcomed with traditional band and Arati. The newly married couple worshiped the holy feet. All the devotees present in hundred of numbers were blessed by Param Poojya Sri Gurudev.

 

The Ayudh Pooja (worship of weapons, tools, vehicles, appliances and instruments) was held on 20th October and celebrated with the customary programs. After the Prasad distribution Param Poojya Sri Gurudev took a round in HIS vehicle Pakshiraj (King of Birds). A 10th standard student Ms. Jayanthi Bai of nearby hamlet Sevanagar received a bicycle for commuting to school daily from Siddha Yoga Dham.

 

The 25th Muktananda Punyatithi (Mahasamadhi Day) was celebrated on 26th October in a grand manner. Devotees gathered in the evening and watched the ‘Glimpses of Muktananda Siddha Guru’ besides the video show of Udaipur Siddha Yoga Satsang. After the Arati at 11 PM everyone looked at the reflection of the full moon in boiling milk. The Prasad was made under the open sky and distributed to the entire gathering.

 

 

A special Shramdan (Volunteer Service) Camp was organized at Siddhaloka on 14th October. Around 50 Siddha Brotherhood members including eight persons from the nearby Banderkuppe Colony worked on the Pandava hillock. The construction of a check dam and cleaning of the new pond commenced at 8 A.M. and concluded at 5 P.M. The lunch and evening coffee was served to all at the hillock in time.

 

Param Poojya Sri Gurudev reached Pune in Maharashtra on 26th September. The devotees started coming for HIS Darshan from 27th morning. HE listened to the problems of all and gave satisfactory solutions. On 30th evening Satsang was arranged in connection with Paramahansa Muktananda Centenary Celebrations at the residence of Brig. V.Y. Bhave. The hall was packed with devotees. Param Poojya Sri Gurudev gave an inspiring talk on Siddha Yoga and made them experience the power of Kundalini. The question and answer session revealed many of such experiences. The devotees related their spiritual experiences after the Satsang too during Param Poojya Sri Gurudev’s daily visiting hours. HE left for Udaipur in Rajasthan after a brief stay at Mumbai.


                                              In Udai
pur the Siddha Yoga Satsang was organized by a staunch devotee of Sri Gurudev, Smt. Suraj Sharma in a grand manner at the Shirdi Sai baba temple built by her. Param Poojya Sri Gurudev spoke on the life of Baba Muktananda, HIS spiritual Sadhana and meeting with Bhagwan Nityananda. All the participants were very happy with the words of Sri Gurudev and meditated after which they received Prasad from HIM.

                                                                                                                             

      On 9th August the 46th Punyatithi (Maha Samadhi Day) of Bhagwan Nityananda was observed. More than hundred children from three nearby schools participated in the Bal Bhojan (feeding for children). School stationery was distributed.

The 15th August Siddha Meditation Intensive concluded with tremendous experiences narrated by the partic
ipants in the Question Answer session:
• When Param Poojya Sri Gurudev touched my forehead I had the vision of Bhagwan Nityananda. I first received HIS blessings in the Satsang at Bangalore. I will strive for attaining enlightenment.
• Salutations to Param Poojya Sri Gurudev. The heaviness ailing my head vanished as soon as you touched me. I saw an overwhelming purple coloured light and Lord Shiva adorned with the tiger skin.
• When Param Poojya Sri Gurudev gave me Shaktipat I experienced a black circular form leaving my body. I felt lightness of body and calmness of mind.
• I felt very much at peace and more energetic.
              Registration for 18th November Intensive is going on.
                                               

On the auspicious occasion of Sri Guru Poornima devotees gathered on the evening of 28th July and participated in the Sri Gurugita Chanting on 29th July at 6 AM. After the ‘Sadguru Ki Arati’ Param Poojya Sri Gurudev blessed all with HIS wand of peacock feathers. From 8 AM onwards the Guruseva started. All the men proceeded to clean a pond on the Pandava hillock while the women and children worked in the children’s Park. Sharp at 1 PM the Prasad was distributed to all. In the evening at 4 PM all the devotees gathered in front of Janananda Prasad Mandir and had a beautiful Satsang where children received special gifts from the lotus hands of Param Poojya Sri Gurudev.
 

Centenary Celebrations of Paramahansa Muktananda

Siddha Yoga Dham has planned to observe Paramahansa Muktananda Baba’s Centenary Celebrations from 2nd May 2007 to 19th May 2008,  by organizing Siddha Yoga Satsangs, Sri Gurugita Chanting sessions and Video Shows on Muktananda Paramahansa. The Siddha Brotherhood members met at Siddhaloka for a preparatory meeting regarding the grand Siddha Yoga Satsang which will be held on 23rd December (Sri Datta Jayanti) at Bangalore. The printed invitations were distributed to the listed invitees. Banners have been fixed at prominent places in the city.

         The Muktananda Centenary Celebration Satsangs were held in Varadenahalli and Dasarahalli in Bangalore Rural District in a grand manner. The legislators and other office bearers of the authorities like Taluk Panchayat and Gram Panchayat were present.
       In Bangalore Satsangs were held in all the corners of the city. Param Poojya Sri Gurudev spoke about Baba Muktananda’s life and conducted Meditation and Question-Answer sessions. The devotees present in the Satsangs experienced the uniqueness of Siddha Yoga.
 

 The Muktananda Centenary Celebrations commenced with the release of the Video CD ‘Glimpses of Muktananda Siddha Guru’. The regular visitors availed the introductory offer.

 

 

Param Poojya Sri Gurudev left Siddhaloka for the Siddha Yoga Satsangs in Mysore and Davangere in Karnataka on 4th May. Param Poojya Sri Gurudev recounted stories from the life of Baba Muktananda in an impressive way. Meditation sessions with the chanting of Kundalini Stava were immensely powerful. Several newcomers requested HIM to initiate them through Shaktipat.

Siddha Meditation Intensive

 Siddha Meditation Intensive was held on May 2nd 2007 in which people from Bangalore City, Mysore and Ottawa (Canada) participated. Participants narrated amazing experiences whose meanings were explained by Param Poojya Sri Gurudev.
 

A 17 member group of devotees from Moscow (Russia) visited Siddhaloka on April 6, 2007. At 10 A.M. they met Param Poojya Sri Gurudev in the Dhyan Mandir where HE gave a brief discourse on the subject of Peace. HE told the story of Rama, Krishna and Buddha who renounced their palaces and worked for the welfare of the people. At the same time HE denounced the modern age Gurus who come from slums, build big palaces in the name of ashrams and deceive people. Subsequently the devotees asked questions to which Param Poojya Sri Gurudev gave satisfactory answers. Everyone prostrated touching the Holy feet and received the Prasad.
The devotees then took a round of the historical places of Siddhaloka and had tea in the Janananda Prasad Mandir and left the ashram blissfully.

Param Poojya Sri Gurudev visited Sevanagara, a nearby village, on 17th March, for closing ceremony of the establishment of ‘Navagraha’ idols at the Shani Temple HE was welcomed traditionally and the family of the priest worshipped the holy feet.

 

Siddha Meditation Intensive

In the Mahashivaratri Siddha Meditation Intensive held on 16th February 2007 one of the participants experienced a pause in breathing and witnessed a black form going out of his body. Several such experiences were narrated in the Question Slips. People from Bangalore, Davanagere and Mysore District participated.

 

On 9th February 2007 Param Poojya Sri Gurudev proceeded to participate in the wedding ceremony of Ravishankar, one of HIS disciples. HE was given a warm traditional welcome at the entrance of the convention hall. After Param Poojya Sri Gurudev took HIS seat the newly wedded couple garlanded HIM and did the worship of the Holy Feet. Then, the entire gathering had Darshan and prostrated before Param Poojya Sri Gurudev left the place.

 

Satsang

On 4th of February Param Poojya Sri Gurudev was invited for delivering a lecture to the executives of Karnataka Soaps and Detergents Ltd., an undertaking of Government of Karnataka. In HIS brief address Param Poojya Swami Ji enlightened the participants about Mother Kundalini. ‘The great power of Kundalini once awakened leads the aspirant to liberation, assisting him in both his Spiritual and material progress’ was HIS main message. The executive Director of the Company welcomed and felicitated Param Poojya Sri Gurudev on the occasion.
 

15th Foundation Day of Siddhaloka

  The devotees gathered at Siddhaloka on 14th January evening to celebrate its 15th Foundation Day. They reminisced  the activities of the ashram in last 14 years and discussed about the future programs with Param Poojya Sri Gurudev. On 15th morning at 5 flag was hoisted on the Siddha Kutir. At 6 A.M. in the Sri Gurugita chanting still more devotees joined. After that Special Prasad of the Day, Pongal was distributed. Visitors kept coming for Darshan of Param Poojya Sri Gurudev till late in the evening.
